Apple says the iPad is
a magical and revolutionary product at an unbelievable price
Now, I have to wonder if that’s because they decided to pay their slogan writer by the superlative or if there is some truth to it.
Even with Apple’s reality distortion field the hype seems pretty heavy on this one. Now, I did pre-order an iPad so obviously I expect to like and use it.
I just finished watching some of the guided tours and realized that the iPad has some unexpected cost. It seems every time someone uses the iPad they put their feet up on the furniture. I’m going to have to replace my furniture with some that’s more appropriate to putting my feet up.
So I set up this blog to chronicle my iPad life from the beginning. Will my skepticism be proven wrong? Will the iPad magically alter my life and the world I live in? Will it be a complete flop that gets thrown in a drawer with other forgotten gadgets? Or will the iPad simply meet expectations and be something I use daily for specific tasks?
